The OPPORTUNITY

As an independent, medium-sized full-service media agency we offer a rare opportunity for someone new to media to jump straight into a role with responsibility and the chance to learn across a broad range of media channels. Media channels you will be exposed to include television, press, out of home, radio and digital.

This particular position will have a strong bias towards digital & TV media, including the setup, targeting, serving and optimisation of digital campaigns, creation of tags, and general management and reporting on performance. You will also be both planning and buying media which will give you an end-to-end understanding of how to deliver a successful campaign.

The role of media assistant is initially to support their team with administration, data processing and advertising operations. However, you will be given opportunities to get further involved in the business depending on how you progress. The clients you will be working on will primarily be charity brands including Plan International, Diabetes UK and and Sightsavers. That’s not all though, your portfolio of clients will also include skincare brand Palmers and Crystal Palace Football Club.

We provide intensive on-the-job training and off-site training with various partners. We’re a member of the IPA and encourage employees to attend industry-wide events & courses.

The Day-to-Day

  • You will be supporting a team that includes one executive, two planner/buyers, two account managers, an account director and lead by a business director.
  • Your role will be to provide technical support to your team providing competitive analyses on media spend; media and cultural trends as well as setting up campaigns for your clients.
  • You will be assigned individual projects when you have mastery of all the key software and systems

About You

  • A deep interest and enthusiasm in how brands grow and mass human behaviour to support continuous business improvement.
  • Strong mathematical and excel skills. Powerpoint/Canva also desirable.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication, accuracy, and attention to detail
